POST-ACTION POTENTIATION: JUST DO IT FOR POWER PERFORMANCE!

A new study has found that post-action potentiation (PAP) exercises prior to sprint/power type activity significantly increases performance (https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0222466). Importantly, it didn’t matter which kinds of PAP exercise were used – both plyometrics and traditional weight exercises produced similar benefits.
